Who I am
Hello!
Thank you for stopping by! My name is Vlad and I am a Destination Wedding Photographer, currently based in Bucharest, Romania covering weddings across all of Romania, as well as destination weddings abroad. You can read more about me and the things I love below.
My story.
6 years of my life were spent in England, Uk, which is where my photography journey began. In the summer of 2020 I decided it was finally time to return back home to Romania and set up my photography business there.
I have a degree in Architecture from the University of Huddersfield, in the UK, where I graduated from in the summer of 2015 with a First Class award. University is where I started getting more serious about photography. Slowly but surely I started realising that photography is what I truly want to do, so in the end I decided against continuing my education in Architecture at Masters level, in order to follow my dream of becoming a full time photographer.
Since I got into photography, I have experimented with a range of photographic themes, but felt most attracted to Wedding and Portrait Photography. In the summer of 2015 I worked as a resort photographer on a tiny Greek island and that is where I have developed my people photography skills, in areas such as Portraiture, but also Action Photography.
Fun facts.
I play guitar, ukulele and a bit of piano. And I also sing a bit. Music has always been a part of my life and I couldn’t see myself without it.
I play Table Tennis - I am fascinated by the dynamics of this sport. In the UK I played competitively in the Manchester Table Tennis League, for the Manchester Table Tennis Club.
I love reptiles. I have a Crested Gecko named Cookie.
Manchester is RED.
I am not much of a gamer, but when I have some free time, my game of choice is Rocket League.
I hate Coriander and genuinely believe it is the root of all evil. I hate it most when I don’t know it’s hiding in my food and it just sneaks up on me! …Nasty stuff.
